Slapshock stages a homecoming show this thursday July 2, 2009 at THE HALF SHELL, 2917 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia...After more than 10 years of touring the whole Philippines and other parts of the globe, the band will finally get to perform at Jamir's hometown. Thanks to the Garcia family and relatives for putting up the show and thanks also to Mr. Ernie Caltenback for helping out organize everything...Hope to see you all at the gig!

06.18.09...SLAPSHOCK RELEASES FIRST SINGLE FROM NEW ALBUM CARINO BRUTAL
Slapshock is releasing today their first single "Can't Stop Us Now" from their newest album Carino Brutal. Hear the full studio version at www.myspace.com/slapshockofficialmusic. The album was recorded at Slaphouse Studio in Quezon City, Philippines, mixed by J.D. Wong of Popshuvit at Studio 21:05 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and was mastered by John Greenham at Area 51 Mastering in San Francisco, CA. Printing and replication of the album was done in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The band is still in Frisco right now and they're about to head out to San Diego for the second gig off their North American Tour '09. Watch out for more updates of the tour.

Finally, after a decade of dominance in the Philippine Rock scene, Slapshock goes to the United States this June for a 2009 Summer Tour. The band will be touring at least 6 states in a month long road tour. First stop will be in San Francisco, then San Diego, LA and Las Vegas. 03.15.08...Slapshock Back from Dubai Desert Rock Fest '08
Slapshock is back from its very successful gig at Dubai Desert Rock Fest. The band played an explosive set which set the crowd bouncing and started the big moshpits all over. From the opening song Shed Your Skin to the finale of We Are One, the crowd gave out the same high energy level as the band members played their hearts out onstage. According to the band, it's one of the most memorable experience they had ever in their whole career. "It's a gig we can always look back when we're gray and old" says one of the band members. SLAPSHOCK JOINS KORN, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, AS I LAY DYING AND MUSE AT DUBAI DESERT ROCK FEST 2008!!!
It’s confirmed! Slapshock will be part of the Dubai Desert Rock Fest V 2008 happening on March 7 and 8. Slapshock will be sharing the stage with Headliners Korn, Muse, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Velvet Revolver and Machine Head. This is the biggest, most prestigious annual rock event in the Middle East with thousands of rock afficionados gathering from all parts of the globe. Previous year’s performers include Iron Maiden, Prodigy, Incubus, Megadeth, Sepultura, Testament, Stone Sour and In Flames.
